Monday, February 9, 2015 C- Day 

Morning Meeting Procedure

 Students will make their way down to the LGI room and participate in Monday Morning Meeting. Students will listen  and actively participate in the meeting. During the meeting students will do the following.
- Greeting - In preparing for the year the students have been working on professional greetings. student have been learning to introduce themselves by making eye contact, shaking hands in a professional manner, clearly saying their names and actively listening.
- Morning Buzz- Students will participate int he interactive news segment of the Monday Morning Meeting. During this time students will learn objectives for the week, review previously taught content, current events, weather and self- reflection. ( Focus of the Lesson Health- Hygiene)

Objectives for the lesson : As a result of the lesson students will.....

1.)  Learn how to use observation logs and data collection tables to collect data during the experiment. 
2.) Create data and observational tables for experiments.

Lesson Overview:  Teacher will compare data tables and observations logs.  Observations longs need to have a great deal of detail when recorded.  Data tables need...

Data and Observation Tables Need...

- Titles for each data table

- Need to have trials labeled

- Need to have observations labeled

- Word processed 

- Need to be organized and neat

Tuesday, February 10 , 2015 D- Day 
Objectives: As a result of the lesson students will...

Learn how to write a data analysis.
Work in collaborative groups to complete data analysis 
Produce a final copy of the data analysis

Data Analysis- Read overview.  Model with sample by showing sample .
Evidence of Learning- Student produce a data table or observational analysis of data or observations.

Wednesday, February 11, 2015- E day

Preparing a conclusion:

Objectives- As a result of the lesson students will....

Work in collaborative groups to write a conclusion for science fair
Write the conclusion for science fair

Lesson Overview - Students will use the following link below to learn about writing conclusions.

Writing a conclusion- read overview , model sample, use check list when writing their conclusion.

Evidence of Learning - Write a conclusion that restates hypothesis, validates or invalidates the hypothesis. explains what was observed during the observation and supports with data, explains what further research can be done or plans for the next experiment,

Thursday, February 12, 2015 - F Day

Work in collaborative groups to write the abstract for their experiment.
