Monday, February 10, 2014 B- Day

Objectives for the Lesson : As a result of the lesson students will.....
1.) Follow Monday Meeting Protocol:

- Greeting
- Morning Buzz
- Shout Outs
- Objectives for the Week
- Guest Speaker ( Ally Bero) Division 1 Hockey Player St. Lawrence University
2.) Students will create their presentation boards for the Science Fair

Lesson Overview: Students will collaborate to work on creating their science fair poster presentation. Students will create a presentation board that demonstrates the steps of the scientific method.  Students will also participate in interviews with Mrs. Santamore to demonstrate background knowledge of their experiments. Students will also prepare their presentations, practice speaking for the judges.

Evidence of Learning:  students will work to complete project boards by Wednesday.

Tuesday, February, 11, 2014  C- Day

Objectives for the Lesson; As a result of the lesson students will....
1.) Collaborate to prepare presentation board for the science fair.
2.) Evaluate their presentation board  to make sure that they are a clearly demonstrating an understanding of the scientific method.

Lesson Overview: Students will collaborate to work on creating their science fair poster presentation. Thursday, February 13, 2014

Objectives; Students will..

1.Practice their presentations in preparation of the science fair.
2. Participate in the science fair.
3.) Present their science project for judges.

Lesson Overview: Students will participate in critical friends to prepare for their science fair.  Scritical friends involves peers evaluating the projects strengths and weaknesses. All students will practice presenting before presenting to judges at 1:15 .  During the fair students will present to judges their scientific experiment. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of the scientific method and how their science experiments demonstrated their understanding of the method.



Evidence of Learning: Students will participate in the local YING Tri Region Science Fair
