Focus: Students will take information from the text and create a book about the global wind belts.

Objectives:  Students will...
1.) Define Local and Global Winds using context clues.
2.) Distinguish between global and local winds.
3.) Explain how scientist measure wind.

Focus of the lesson:  Students will learn about how wind if formed from the following video. Students will then identify the tools used to measure wind. Students will then break into groups of 5 to 6 students to create a book about the global wind belts.
