MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2014  B-DAY

Monday Morning Meeting

Objectives: During Monday Morning Meeting students will

- Actively Listen to Speakers.
- Interpret weather
- Review Ratios
- Go over Objectives for the Week
- Work on professionalism
- Discuss the importance of first impressions and being personable

Science Objectives
As a result of today's lesson students will....
1. Identify the composition of the ozone layer.
2.) discuss why the Ozone Layer is important for the environment.

You will make a diagram or drawing of the Layers of the Atmosphere  Due Wednesday 
Barkley, Bish , Hughes
Zappia, Santamore, Walbridge Due Monday Sept. 22, 2014


Your diagram needs to have the following:

Title- Layers of the Atmosphere
- Must have each layer must be labeled and spelled correctly.
-Layers must be in correct order.
- Each layer must be labeled and a description of each layer
- Kilometers must be labeled.
- Temperature must be labeled. 
- Must be colored

Tuesday, September 16, 2014 C- Day

Focus: A trip through the layers of the atmosphere.

BBC- Documentary that takes students trough the layers of the atmosphere.
Pages 18-21-

Objectives- As a result of the lesson students will...

1.Work in triads to come up with   visual representation of the layers of the atmosphere.
2. Teach classmates about specific about each layer of the atmosphere.
3. Create a word web about each layer.

Lesson: Students work in cooperative groups to create a visual presentation about each layer of the atmosphere.

Stratosphere
Mesosphere
Thermosphere
Ionosphere
Exosphere

Evidence of Learning: Students will create a visual for each layer and present their work to the group.
