Monday Morning Meeting Procedure
Students will meet in the LGI Room
Procedure:
Greeting- Students will practice 21st century skills to prepare for the real world scenario.
Fundraiser - Nature'd Fury - Students will learn about this month's fundraiser, Nature's Fury. Students will be challenged to raise money to go on a great Field Trip at the end of the year.
Presentation: Jake Wikopf- Professional Sled Dog Trainer.
Students will listen to Jake's Presentation on raising, training and racing sled fogs up in Alaska. Jake will present his educational background at Cornell University, his role as student athlete in college and following his dream and passion for sled dog racing. Jake informed the students about his work for Purina and his editorial writing for Mushing Magazine.
Students will ask questions baed on the presentation.
Percy Jackson and Lightening Thief: Movie
Students will watch Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief , Directed by Christopher Columbus .
Students will complete a Venn Diagram comparing the movie an the novel . Students will write down twenty differences and ten similarities.

Native American Day
Objectives: Students will take part in Native American day at Salmon River Central School District
Native American Day Schedule
8:30-9:30 Native American Film Festival - Auditorium
9:30-11:00 Social in High School Gymnasium
Students will participate in presentations and reflect on Native American Day Contributions.
Wednesday- Friday - NO SCHOOL : Thanksgiving Vacation
School will resume Monday, December 1, 2014
